HTML source code
I am unable to paste my ad code into my HTML source code. I can only view the HTML but cannot insert or paste the ad code.
I think we may need a bit more info to be able to answer this question. When you say you can view the code but not edit it, how are you viewing it?
1) What program are you using to view the code?
2) Are you using any kind of HTML editor to work on the code?
3) Do you have full access to the source of the code so that you can change it?
4) Is this a blog site, or your own web site?
With the above information, I would be much better prepared to help you answer this question -- I hope ;-)
