Can you use a Canon EOS Rebel XSI live view and also have auto focus?
I know it's better to use the viewfinder, but sometimes when I am wearing glasses or want to take photos of my kids (who often freeze if I put the camera up to my face), I would rather use the LCD.
Yes, i believe you can; I have the same camera. Just keep the lens on auto, rather than manual focus.
