What is with the SPAM on some of my HUBS?
I actually got no notice of a comment on one of my Hubs, but accidentally looked and I had three SPAM Comments. One was in German, One was from an obvious Kid, and the third was three randomly copied paragraphs. Isthis happening to anyone else?
I've started getting a weird spam on the comments on one of my hubs. It's happened twice and I've reported it. Someone is obviously playing games, hacking the site or something.
I haven't had anything like this yet, but I am new, so it may just be a matter of time.
Quite a few of us are having this problem. There's a forum post about it here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/98876
If you look at the forum you will see at least 4 or 5 threads about it. It seems to be happening to almost everyone. If everyone would set their comments for those with a Hub account that would kill it off quickly. Thankfully, the spam filter is catching them all.
Yep, I've gotten ... four or five SPAM comments in the last few days on one hub about making fresh herbal teas. Two of the messages were about Ray Ban sunglasses. The others were in German. Not sure why this has started!
Nothing on mine, so far...
Oh shoot, did I just jinx myself? Haha, bring it, Tea Lady!

I am thinking that if a hubber has left HP for whatever reason then there should be a shudown of that hubbers forums, questions and comments. Why have a forum running that the hubber initiated. If the forum was started by someone else and the just posted a thread, that's okay. But if the initiated...

Hi,One of my Hubs has been showing comments from different people that are unrelated to my post. It seems to be entire discussions going on about another subject. Is anyone else seeing this?

Why would anyone delete a comment on their hub?If I deleted a comment on one of my hubs, I would figure I am not good at dealing with people who might disagree with me. People can agree or disagree, it's a free world. If the comment was mean or nasty, well I'm not the one looking bad,...

This week, several of my older hubs received comments. My delight upon hearing the news was short lived. All of them are written in horrid grammar and about half of them are clearly spam--either nonsensical code-like characters or advertisements for products not mentioned in my Hubs. Is anyone else...
