Computer Fan Runs Fast then slow pages load really slow
I cleaned the fans this is when I started having problems. After cleaning the fans I turned the computer on and I got a message saying thermal temp. is over heating. My computer would then shut off. After a while I was able to boot computer. Now the fan runs for 3sec. on high 2 sec on slow. Pages load very slow the longer I leave my PC on. Computer runs fast when I first turn it on but runs slow as time goes by.
Is there a fix for this problem? Is their a diagnoses to find the problem that I can try?
I have an extra computer that I have kept for parts I could swop the fan If nothing e
If you took the fan off the CPU, you must make sure you put it back on properly..that it's in firm contact with the cpu's heat sink, and that the heat sink is securely clamped to the cpu. Make sure it's plugged into the proper terminal on the motherboard. Same goes for the case fan(s). Check the motherboard info. If you still have a problem, try swapping the fans with suitable replacements. Hope that helps.
I didn't unplug the CPU or any plugs going to motherboard. I unscrewed it to take a look. I decided not to mess with it. So I tighten the screws and cleaned the blades from outside the computer with compressed air.

I have been experiencing slow load time in the forum for a few days. I thought it might be my computer, but checked another and have the same issues. I just posted a response in a thread and timed it 65 seconds for it to post. Anyone else notice a lag or slow down?

I have been experiencing some agonizingly slow HP load times these past few weeks. The problem seems unique to the site, as I have had no trouble with loading other sites. Does this have something to do with the end of net neutrality? UGC site terrorists?? Barbarians at the gates (of...

I've noticed a significant change in the speed at which HP pages are loading. It's changed noticeably since last Saturday, the 15th. I'm using Chrome (the most recent version). I'm not having this problem with any other site or page I visit. I'm also using Win7.
