Do you use any websites that charge you a membership fee?
If so, please tell me which sites you use and why you believe it is worth the expense.
No!, I don't use any site that charges its members. I don't think it is worth it. You can imagine being a member for free and still not fully satisfied with what you have got. Although others may benefit from such sites depending on what they are offering.
I belong to a forum support site for a forum website that I have developed. I had to get the membership to get a few Wordpress plugins I needed. I only had to join for 2 months and that will be plenty. I got the plugins I needed and some support for coding issues with them. Other than that I don't normally use any websites that charge a fee.
I was a paying member of Angie's List for a few years but the yearly fee got so high I had to cancel the subscription. I also joined Flexjobs.com to find a telecommuting job but that hasn't worked out so far (the positions advertised are out of my line of work -- but I'm sure the website has benefitted some people). I also joined Classmates.com for a year and then cancelled because not much activity and people were contacting me that I didn't want contact with.
