What does it mean when you get a referral view from m.facebook .com or l.facebook.com?
I noticed on my analytics account today that I got some referrals from names like those above and have no idea what they are. Can anybody help me?
It means that somehow, they have clicked on your referral link that was posted on Facebook and visited your page. m.facebook.com or lm.facebook.com is definitely traffic from a mobile device, but l.facebook.com is generally from desktop and tablet users.
The above was from MY understanding but this site http://westbocanews.com/2014/04/10/face … cebook-com claims that the user may be finding you on a third-party site while logged in to that site through Facebook.
Hope this is easy for you to understand! Cheers!
Thanks. I no longer have a FB page, so don't know how that info fits into what you just said. I never have seen those markings before.
