Search engines keep changing the game on us! How can we keep up with all the changes? Do you have any good tips?

Some follow a site called MOZ and Warriors Forum, but I believe you have to pay to join in order to participate.
I always follow SEO communities aside from Google blog to be able to be updated in SEO changes. Search engine land and Search engine journal have lots of news and tips about SEO updates.
