When we have AI we don't need any lawyers anymore. In other words, the balance of power will shift completely.
The powers that be won't want that.
AI is biased, biased as it is programmed by white males.
Face and speech recognition will be used in the commercial sector. In other words, privacy won't exist anymore.
AI will give a massive change to our society. Just like the internet changed the society and internet on the go.
I think it's good to stop the development of AI and first make international laws about how AI is used.
It is incredibly complicated, AI will change our world. But we should have a bit of a direction in how this change will take place.
AI will give immense power to some and others will suffer greatly. AI does not have a moral code. It will probably learn this, but from who? Will it learn morals from a fascist or from a person with tolerance and empathy?
At the moment its morals and world view is based upon the white male worldview, as they were the persons who programmed the AI in the beginning.
Face recognition had problems with black faces as it was trained on white male faces (the programmers), with false arrests and lots of misunderstandings as AI read the faces wrongly.
It's all about the person who initially trains the AI.
