I think an iPad is the ideal second computer.

Though, I happened to be talking to an Apple rep today and I mentioned that but then added that it's a little odd to call something I use for most of the day my "second" computer.  I sometimes go days now without using my "main" computer at all.

I can do 90% or more of my work on my iPad.  That includes remote support of customers computers.

    I highly recommend it.

Yup.Would definitely recommend an iPAD.Even though there are a few negatives which comes with this it is definitely a technological advancement in comparison with a PC or any such device.
