Free Blog Giveaways

Updated on January 11, 2013

Win Big with Free Blog Giveaways!

With a little time and effort, you really can win a lot of great prizes from Blog Giveaways. I am living proof of that. All our gifts last year for Christmas last year were provided from prizes I won from blog giveaways. Yes, all of them! I got to know our UPS and FedEx drivers by name because they were coming by nearly everyday. I don't tell you this to brag. I simply want to help if you are in a similar situation.

The economy has not been kind in recent years. Families everywhere are struggling. If you want to help out the budget by winning some great prizes, then entering blog giveaways may be the hobby for you. (Just be sure to enter to win something for your mailman, since he is going to be straining his back bringing all those great prizes to your door!)

How Free Blog Giveaways Saved Christmas for our Family

Last Christmas (2009) we had literally no money for gifts. I suffered a back injury over the summer that left me unable to work... and with medical bills piling up at an alarming rate. My husband works in sales and the downturn in the economy cut his paychecks in half. We had no idea how we were going to provide Christmas for our 4 kids. My heart broke at the thought of no gifts under the tree for my children.

Around this time, I was introduced to my first blog giveaway. I entered because it was quick and easy. I hit submit and didn't give it much of a thought afterward. I mean people don't actually win those things, right? So imagine my shock when I received an email stating that I was a winner! The prize was an Adorable Kinders doll that was going to make a perfect Christmas gift for my youngest daughter. From there on I was hooked. I entered anything and everything that I thought would make a good gift for someone in my family. I averaged 2-3 wins a week! When Christmas arrived, I not only had gifts for everyone in my family, but I also had a bag of brand-new toys to take over to the annual Toys for Tots campaign at the local mall. I felt very blessed to be able to be able to help provide toys for some children in need through my wonderful hobby.

Winning Blog Giveaways is 10% Luck and 90% Persistence.

Blog giveaways have way better odds than big national sweepstakes. Enter consistently and the wins will start coming.

2010 Christmas Update

Once again we had a completely free Christmas between blog giveaway prizes and Amazon gift certificates I earned from Swagbucks. I don't tell you this to brag, only to inspire you. It can be done if you consistently enter. Persistence is the key. There are thousands of blog giveaways running at any given time. The odds are in your favor if you enter enough.

A few things that I did this year that helped out:

I kept a list by my computer of everyone in my family and their interests. Then if I saw a blog giveaway that would make a good gift, I jotted that down on the list as well. So I was able to keep an eye out for certain blog giveaways throughout the year.

I started entering for Christmas gifts early in the summer. It really took the pressure off and I didn't have to worry if presents would get here in time.

If I saw a prize that interested me, I looked for other blog giveaways giving away the same prize. Generally there were other blogs giving the same thing away so I entered on all of them.

I started doing the daily tweet entries. It made a huge difference in the number of times I was winning.

I started entering any giveaway I could find for Amazon gift certificates. I saved these all year and used them to supplement the gifts I had already won.
