Presario comes with optiarc DVD RW, with this high speed DVD writer you are able to write both data, audio, and video files much faster which helps in time management.

It has got high quality sound than Compaq 6730s, it has got conexant High Definition Smart Audio 221, and NIVIDIA High Definition Audio which explains why it sound quality is better than Compaq 6730s

HP Presario comes with a 30 day free Norton Internet Security, after which you have to buy one for the laptop. The hard disc capacity of Compaq Presario is 240 GB. The other notable feature of Compaq Presario is the mounted cyberlink Youcam which allows you to capture both video and sound. The only drawback is that the quality of Cyber link capture videos is very poor

This is one of the easy to carry laptops, and you can move with it around without any difficulty. This is a personal review after using this laptop

      Updating HP Drivers

Right when you aquire a brand-new HP Compaq 6910p Notebook, those hardware drivers that came with it are already in need of an update! It's a sad fact. Manufacturers like Hewlett Packard issue fresh device drivers for their devices frequently, at times merely days from the last update. Fresh device driver updates will provide bug fixes, compatibility and stableness improvements and occasionally brand-new functionality for the HP Compaq 6910p Notebook so you'll definitely wish to keep these product drivers up to date. Keeping current with product driver updates will ensure your HP Compaq 6910p Notebook operates as intended.

      Device Driver Update Software (Beginner)

Alas, keeping a system up to date and working as it should demands time and a bit of technical knowledge. For those who do not possess time to handle your PC updates and maintenance you can always make a service call, but who wants to pay the high price? To avoid servicing costs and the stress of self PC maintenance, another alternative is available - Hewlett Packard device driver update tools. These convenient programs will install your HP Compaq 6910p Notebook device drivers in a matter of minutes. No longer will you have to be annoyed with hunting endlessly for the right device driver. Not to mention nullifying the chance of installing the incorrect driver or a virus or spyware from a doubtful website. While I wouldn't advocate it to the average user, if you have the persistence to undertake a manual driver update read the accompanying part.

      Manual Device Driver Update (Advanced)

Realise that manual device driver installs aren't always user-friendly. The installation of the device driver by itself isn't ordinarily too rough but locating the right driver may very well be. The model and manufacturing business of your hardware should already be known to you (HP Compaq 6910p Notebook). If you are aware of the site address of the manufacturing business you can go ahead and visit that page. In most instances the manufacturer will contain a product support or file page. Sometimes there will be a search box where you can input the model to look up. Once located, the page for your model should provide the current device drivers for your hardware. If you aren't sure of the precise version of your product, I advocate utilizing the automatic update procedure in the above segment. If you can't seem to find a device driver, the maker might have stopped supporting the product. Sometimes earlier device versions are phased out in hopes that users need to upgrade to the newly released models. You'll want to use an automatic driver update application to gain access to new drivers in this situation.

Try out going to alternate driver web pages in the event that you are not able to locate your drivers within the Hewlett Packard web site. To start, just type in a web search for the keyword phrase "HP Compaq 6910p Notebook" product updates and find out what you turn up. There's always the gamble of malware and virus assaults when you load doubtful pages, so be protective. Make sure you are using the right driver for a HP Compaq 6910p Notebook or you can inflict damage which could involve a fresh install of your OS.
