iPhone 6 Rumors and News

There is much buzz in the tech world and Apple lovers with the launch of the new iPhone 6. As usual, the presentation was preceded by all kinds of rumors and leaks.

After months of rumors, Apple revealed their new flagship model during its annual Keynote in California.

Apple unveiled two new iPhones: a 4.7" model (with resolution of 1334x750 píxeles) and a 5.5" model (with resolution of 1920x1080 píxeles).

This is the first time Apple launches two new smartphones at the same time. It is also the first time that offers several color alternatives: Space Gray (dark gray with a black screen bezel), Silver (with a white screen bezel) and Gold.

iPhone 6 Features and Specs

The major difference with the iPhone 5 is the new design. Rounded edges, much thinner unit, lower weight, new button layout and a larger screen size.

The two new models are the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, both have a thickness of 7 mm and curved ends.

The battery performance has been greatly improved and connectivity is based on 3G, WiFi and LTE. Both models have a Retina HD display with IPS technology.

iPhone 6 Processor

Both phones use the new processors A8 and M8 fast 20-nanometer quad-core, 64-bit CPU, with motion processing. They are 25% faster. The internal storage capacity of the units is 16, 64 and 128 GB.

iPhone 6 Batery

Thanks to the larger size of the iPhone 6, each phone has a larger battery. In the cheapest model the battery will last 14 hours and 24 hours in the Plus model.

The iPhone 6 Plus gets a better battery life due to the fact that it simply can fit a bigger battery.

iPhone 6 Camera

The camera of the iPhone 6 has also been improved, the image stabilizer ("Focus Pixel" technology), is the highlight feature.

Like the previous model, both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have an 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.2 aperture and 1.5µ pixels. Another improvement on the camera is that the sensor has been upgraded.

Both models can take high-dynamic range (HDR) shots with a single click of the shutter, rather than a series of shots, doing now much easier to take HDR photos.

The cameras on both models are not equal. The iPhone 6 has digital image stabilization, the iPhone 6 Plus has optical image stabilization, being the lens that can physically move.

iPhone 6 Video

Both phones have improved the quality of video. They can shoot 1080p video in 30 or 60 frames per second.

Also there is a 240fps slow motion video mode. To help you get the best shot has also improved the face detection.
