Sony DVP-FX970 product review

9 inch portable DVD player

As you would expect, the Sony DVP-FX970 produces great sound and picture quality and that extra 2 inch screen adds a bit more comfort to your viewing pleasure. The casing is sturdy and textured to give a good grip which is always an advantage. I does tend to be slightly noisy when it is powering up the DVD but is fine while the movie is running. The battery life is around 6 hours so there is plenty of time to watch 2 or 3 movies aB jack means you can also listen to music and target photos too which makes it more functional than the FX-750.

Sony DVPFX980 product review

9 inch portable DVD player

For a portable DVD player this Sony model delivers all it promises: the picture is clear and the sound fine if you use proper headphones. OK so the battery life is only 4 hours compared to the 6 hours of the FX990 - but it is half the price. You can attach it to a hotel DVD too which is great. Most customers gave it a 4* and 5* rating as being value for money.

Top Selling Sony Portable DVD Player - The Top Selling Portable DVD Players By Sony!

Sony DVP-FX750/R

Features:

This model has a 7 inch screen

Attractive textured cover makes it easy to hold

Includes a car adapter

Rechargeable battery with around 3 hours life

Headphone jacks for 2

Attach to a TV via an A/V outlet.

MP3 and photo playback possible

Sony DVP-FX750/R product review

7 inch portable DVD player

It's the smallest and the cheapest and you can get it in red or black. The picture and sound quality are still fine but it only has a 3 hour battery life which is fine for short journeys but not much good on long flights. From reviews I would say this is probably right for young kids but you probably want something more durable for yourself.

We have got a portable Sony DVD and I use it to watch movies while I am ironing in the kitchen. It has lasted really well and works as good as new.

My children have had lots of fun with a portable dvd player, especially during the period we decided not to have a TV.

I actually do have a Sony DVD portable player that we use in the car. I would love to switch to those models that sit better mounted to the back of the car. But Sony makes the best
