Samsung N130 Netbook
Samsung N130 Review
The stylish Samsung n130 is a small, sleek netbook. My husband bought me the Samsung n130 netbook when it first came out and I was very pleased with its performance, size, feel, and portability. I also like the Windows 7 operating system that comes on the n130. I work online four to five days a week. This is how I make my living, so having a reliable netbook is very important to me. I've gone through many netbooks (HP and Dell were my two most recent casualities) but after my N130, every time I need to upgrade my laptop I go back to Samsung. I love their netbooks.
Here I review the Samsung n130 netbook and list its specs and price.
My Review of Samsung n130 Netbook - Personal review of Samsung n130 netbook.
This photo is of my personal Samsung n130 netbook. I know you must be wowed by my awesome photography skills. But jokes aside, I've had my n130 for a year now and I absolutely love it. I have a super nice full size laptop with a 19 inch monitor, but it has been in my closet for 8 months now because everything I need to do online, I've been doing with this little netbook. I'm using the Samsung n130 right now to write this review.
My husband bought me the n130 to replace an expensive tablet pc laptop that I had. The network card went out in it and I needed something to use to access the internet daily. Money was super tight for us at the time too. My husband is a computer programmer. After reading many reviews and watching user reviews on YouTube, he decided on the Samsung n130 netbook.
This is my first time with a netbook. I only owned desktops for years and years. I just made the switch to laptops about four years ago. I was very resistant at first and not comfortable with the smaller keyboard and mouse pad in place of a full mouse. So, the fact that I'm now so comfortable with this 10.1 inch netbook speaks volumes.
The n130 has plenty of memory. I have all of our family photos and videos saved on mine right now, along with all of my articles, blog backups, and images I use for building web pages. I've yet to even come close to using up all of the memory this tiny computer offers.
The screen is super crisp and clear. Whether I'm working on it in a dark room or in full sunlight, the screen is super easy to see. Don't let the 10 inch screen scare you off. It's a widescreen and all you need for accessing word documents, email, surfing the web, or even watching movies.
The only downside to a netbook is that it doesn't have a disk drive, but it does have a USB port and you can always use an external disk drive.

About the Keyboard on the Samsung Netbook - The keyboard on the n130 is amazing.
While out shopping for netbooks, my husband said he was sold as soon as he tried out the Samsung n130 keyboard. Most netbook keyboards are tiny, hard to use, and feel flimsy. The n130 is a huge exception. It's close to a full size keyboard and the keys have the same sturdy click and pop action as my desktop pc. I placed a penny on the mouse pad to give you an idea of the size of the keys. I can type 89 words a minute on this little laptop just like I do on a full size desktop computer.
I took this picture today, so please forgive the well worn keys and mouse pad. I've used this netbook 5 to 8 hours a day every day for a year. Also, you may notice in the upper right corner you can see a bit of inside parts. One day my four year old knocked my netbook off of the kitchen table. It smacked on the hard tile floor and a little plastic piece broke off. The computer still works fine. The screen still opens and closes just fine. This is a tough little laptop. It has been chewed and drooled on by my baby. It's been jumped on by my two year old and dropped a few times and it still performs well.

Review Update
I finally started to outgrow the N130 as my online business grew. My husband tried to get me a beefier machine, but I couldn't stand the way the track pad or keyboard felt have typing on my Samsung netbook for over 2 years. So, he returned the pricey laptop to get me another Samsung netbooks, which I love. We passed my old N130 down to my six year old daughter who uses it to play educational games.
I really do love my Samsung netbook.
