Pen Scanner

This is one of the concepts which I’ve dreamt of from a pretty young age. Thanks to Korean designer Jinsus Park that it’s a reality now. It’s a novel idea. A ink pen that reads the colour of any object you place in front of it, it just scans it then mixes red, blue and green ink to match it and instantly uses it for drawing. It can create any colour, can you imagine that? If you want that light leafy green just rush into the garden and hold the pen closer to that particular coloured leaf. You will get that exact colour in your pen .For the artists who find it really hard to mix and match, to find that perfect colour. Here’s something quite innovative. Hold it close to that colour and just scan it instead.

To scan the colour just holds it close to the colour of the object to be scanned and press the scan button. The scanner begins to detect colour after the button is pressed. The RGB cartridge of the pen mixes the required ink to make the target colour. It would require room for mixing ink and another room for storing colours and a scanner to detect colour right? It’s rather unbelievable as technologies have improved that far as all the parts and electronics needed, can be summed to a size of a useful pen.
