The Missing Piece: A Keyboard for Your iPad - The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard

Updated on June 22, 2014

Depending on how often you use your iPad, you may have reached a point where you wish you had a keyboard. The iPad's built in touch-screen keyboard works just fine, but if you have a long email to write, then sometimes you just want to type away. There are many different keyboard options out there, but none works as well as the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard. The keyboard magnetically connects to the iPad and the keys work smoothly and reliably. The Logitech also acts as a cover, so you can take the keyboard with you everywhere and protect your iPad screen. When you are sitting down to type, the Keyboard will help prop your iPad up, so that your tablet more closely resembles a laptop.

My husband and I love this accessory and have also given it to both of our parents as gifts. They were both HUGE hits and are used by them on a daily basis. It is a great gift idea for people that are trying to ease into the tablet world, those that work remotely or travel a lot, or for those that were raised on the "home row" method of typing (a method that can be difficult with the built-in touch-screen keyboard).

This accessory can bring you one step closer to ditching your laptop and working full-time on your portable touch screen iPad. And the great part is that it attaches easily AND removes easily - so you don't have to worry about it getting in your way when reading, taking pictures, or playing games on your iPad.

If you're looking for additional accessories that will increase your ability to be productive on your iPad, check out these other products:

For use with various apps, this "pen" gives you the ability to hand-write notes right into your iPad.

I don't have an iPad so I don't have this keyboard, but I do use a separate Logitech keyboard with my laptop. This is at least my third Logitech and when I decide I want a new one, it will be the same as the one I'm typing on now. I always turn to Logitech for peripherals, so I'm sure your recommendation is a good one!
