The Wonder Of A Power Inverter

Updated on October 18, 2013

I love my portable power inverter for the car. It is one of my favorite gadgets and I make double sure it is with me every time I leave my house. I am a driver for a living. These inverters have been a life saver many times over. It has helped me stay charged up and running if I am away from home for too long with my phone getting heavy use. It keeps that cell battery boosted up as well as the many electronic devices I use for work and play. My laptop, a GPS device, or even a DVD player can plug into this handy power station.

The advantage of having one of these devices is obvious. My cell phone may get critically low on power because of the massive amounts of calls or text I receive some days. I need to be able to coordinate my locations and schedules via cell phone and if it dies, I am sunk. I just plug in my phone charger to the inverter and KaZAM! I am up and running again. I am instantly without worry about missing an important call or text. With my job, a busy day will kill BOTH the batteries in cell phones I use. I have 2 phones. A work issued cell and my personal one.

This device is a necessary part of my day to day survival kit. Even better than that, as a driver it makes a great impression on my client when I ask them if they need a phone charged. They are usually very grateful I asked them about their phone. I carry different connectors so that I have the most common chargers on hand.

Simply plug the device into your cigarette lighter outlet and you have a convenient charging station or connection for any device with 110 V DC 3 prong outlet or USB cable fitting. It can power up your laptop or DVD player, rechargeable batteries, and you are good to go.

This is a great set of adapters for almost anything you have electronic wisse. With this kit, you wouldn't need to carry the full sized chargers along. Simply pick the size you need for charging up that device and connect via the USB port!

This heavy duty power inverter conveniently rests in your cupholder and has not only one but 2 110 DC outlets in its make up. I can't imagine not owning one of these devices now. I have come to rely on mine, very much. The first thing I do when I set up my car at work is drag out the system and plug it in ready to go. I do this, too when I travel.

Need something with a little more power? This 500 W system will plug directly into the lighter outlet in the car or can be connected to your car's battery if needs be. It has 2 outlets and 2 USB ports.

Comments and Review

I find these handy gadgets invaluable in my line of work and I recommend them highly to anyone who travels or drives a lot. Spend a lot of time in your car? You definitely need one!

Love my inverter - and I can definitely say that if a driver offered to charge one of my devices, I'd tip him or her quite well.
