Dragon Naturally Speaking Dictation. The joys of using voice recognition/dictation software

Updated on April 22, 2015

Don't let yourself get like this man.

Voice recognition/Dictation software is wonderful.

One of the great handicaps that one can suffer from when trying to make a living from writing is the curse of bad typing skills. There is nothing more annoying than to laboriously spend ages at a keypad struggling to communicate your words to the great world outside, only to have to spend as much time correcting your mistakes as you have already spent putting your thoughts down in the first place. I have always found this to be one of the greatest drawbacks in my efforts to pursue a career in writing. The annoyance that I got from having to deal with typos all the time seemed to take away from the pleasure which I should have been enjoying from dazzling my public with my great wit and incredible word skills. I even went so far as to book myself on a typing course. Unfortunately for me I have had to quit the course on account of the fact that I injured one of my fingers. That injury put paid to any idea I might have had of using touch typing skills to advance my career. A very fortuitous discovery last week has reignited my hopes and I now find that I can put down as many words as I wish much faster, and with much greater accuracy, than I could ever hope to do through the medium of touch typing. All I need to do now is just sit down and relax and speak. I can watch my words miraculously appear, almost as if by magic, on my screen. This means that I can now absolutely enthral, or bore, my readers, that is if my imagination and my literary skills are up to the job.

Introducing Dragon NaturallySpeaking dictation software.

This transformation in my prospects is due to my recent discovery of dictation software, most notably Dragon NaturallySpeaking premium version 11.5. This amazing software, which is available from Amazon, is set fair to totally revolutionise the way I operate on the Internet. All I need to do now is just speak. I can communicate all my deepest thoughts to my admiring fans, through writing, even when I have both hands tied behind my back. Not alone can I do this without exercising my fingers and anyway, but I can write even faster and more accurately than I could ever dream was possible. I can now look forward to writing endless hubs, and indeed articles for other sites as well, with perfect ease. The literary world really has become my oyster.

I really love my dictation software.

I had previously heard of other software programs which purport to reproduce exactly the speaking voice in perfectly spelt words on the computer screen. But the mistakes which were made in the copying of the voice always seem to result in the production of nothing but unreadable nonsense. Dragon Naturally Speaking software appears to have none of these problems. This article which I'm writing at the moment is being produced perfectly and all I am doing is simply sitting here speaking into a microphone. I only installed the software on my computer yesterday and was only required by the training programme to read out the inaugural speech of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The whole thing only took about 10 min. I was also requested to give access my sent e-mails and my saved Word documents. This was in order that the software could learn of my style of writing to help it more easily reproduce the thoughts and the words that I am likely to use myself. So far it seems to have done it perfectly or at least with 95% accuracy. As I get used to using the software program it should get much more accurate. The only problems I have found is that occasionally I might slur my words and the microphone might pick it up wrong. But since I usually speak clearly and concisely that is rarely a problem. This article which I'm writing at the moment has been produced entirely true using Dragon NaturallySpeaking software. I expect as time goes by, and I become better acquainted with all the functions that Dragon NaturallySpeaking contains, my skills in using it will get better and better. Already it has given me great pleasure and the ease with which I can see my words flying across the page as I speak them will be a great boon to me throughout the remainder of my Internet writing career.

Have fun answering and asking questions on any subject while earning good AdSense revenue.

Ask not what you can do for your dictation software, but ask what your dictation software can do for you.

For those of you who enjoy writing and would like to do it without all the hassle of typing and typos I would strongly recommend that you consider going for the dictation software option. Dragon NaturallySpeaking gives you an excellent software package. It can take the drudgery out of communicating your innermost thoughts and your most witty insights to an ever widening world. It is available from that excellent company Amazon. If you use the one click option when making a purchase you can be sitting like me watching your every word zip across the page almost faster than you can say them.

All I need to do now is figure out how I can get the money back that I paid for the typing course I no longer need.
