South India is regarded as one of the most popular travel spot in India and is home to some of the most amazing travel destinations. South India has a wide range of travel attractions in offer and due to varied travel attractions a lot of travelers from different parts of the world visit South India. The ancient temples, churches, mosques, forts, hill stations, beaches, villages, waterfall etc all makes south India a major travel hub in India.

South India covers different Indian states such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh and all these 4 states have different languages, culture, food, landscapes and climate which offers a unique travel experience. These states have various top class travel destinations and attractions that are sure to provoke great enthusiasm among the travelers. Here I will like to point out some of the top travel destinations in South India and the list is not from any particular sources and I have gathered it from my knowledge and referring other websites. So here go some of the top travel destinations in South India for you to visit.

Ooty
Ooty which is also known as Ootacamund or Udhagamandalam is a perfect hill station destination in the Nilgiri hills that is seen in the state of Tamil Nadu. The blue moutains surrounding the hill station makes it more beautiful and attracts a lot of travelers on a daily basis. A perfect destinations for honeymoon and family vacation trips, Ooty is also home to adventure activities, trekking, sightseeing, botanical gardens etc. As with any of the typical hill stations of India, Munnar is also blessed with a cool weather throughout the year and this is yet another reason why it remains beautiful and attracts too many travellers regularly.

Kodaikkanal
Kodaikkanal is yet another major hill station in Tamil Nadu and is a major tourism center in Dindigul district. Kodaikanal is often referred to as the "Princess of Hill Stations".
