Relax in Paradise

Its a great place to stay to unwind, its easy to have fun here but finding the right hotel in Key West can be a challenge, luckily there are plenty of Affordable Key West Hotels to choose from.

The Florida Keys

The Keys in Florida are one of the best attractions to go and enjoy. The Florida Keys are a string of Islands south of Florida mainland, they span a staggering 120 miles from end to end. If you want to take life at a slower pace, then the Keys is the perfect place to go. Its also an excellent place for scuba diving and snorkelling as well as a beach holiday.

Key Largo waters are protected, and its a great place to go and watch the marine life, its one of the best diving spots in the US.

Each mile along the 120 mile route of the whole Florida Keys are marked along the main highway, and its the easiest way to travel across the Keys. To get to Key West, you will need to take around a 3 hour drive to reach it from Key Largo, with plenty of excellent stopping opportunities on the way (for more sightseeing!).

Its a scenic route with lots of bridges along the way, and the seven mile bridge which is the world's longest segmented bridge. The City of Key West is the largest community on the Islands and is worth a stay for a few nights, its a fun and very cool place to stay, the atmosphere is chilled out but you also have plenty to do here to make it essential that you stay for a few nights. A common way to travel around Key West is by Scooter, and there are plenty of rental opportunities. There are plenty of beautiful sights with stunning colonial houses and Ernest Hemmingway's house to go see. What to look for when choosing affordable accomodation

When planning a trip to Key West you should consider the right accommodation, here are four things you should consider when choosing Affordable accommodation in Key West:

Check the Location of the Hotel, you should decide how far into the city you want to stay, if you want to stay further out of the city you need to consider how to move around the city. If you stay further out, taking the car into the city will be difficult as there is limited parking. The bus service is excellent but you need to make sure it goes to your hotel, you could also consider renting a scooter.

Check the amenities, if there is a swimming pool, does it have Wi-Fi? Cheap hotels can offer some excellent extras and its worth investigating what you would get from each hotel you are considering.

Read online customer reviews from people who have stayed in these hotels. Make sure you read quite a few reviews not just the first two you see. After reading a lot of them you will be able to make a well rounded guess on the state of the service.

Check Price versus service, the cheapest is not always the best option. If you have to spend a lot on travel from the cheapest hotel then its not a good deal or you may need to spend a lot of time travelling to and from your hotel.

There is a lot to consider when choosing the right accommodation in Key West but if you do your research and compare all of the different elements when making your choice, you will find the right hotel to make your vacation very enjoyable.
