Beautiful Shillong

Known as the "Scotland of the East", Shillong stands at 4908 feet. there's no railway in Meghalaya. Thus, travelers can reach Guwahati by rail. From there, you'll rent a cab to Shillong. there's a high prevalence of hired cabs traveling between these two cities. There also are many buses from Guwahati railroad station to Shillong. It takes about three and a half hours to succeed in the town by car from Guwahati, the most important city in north-east India.
