Beautiful Shillong

Known as the "Scotland of the East", Shillong stands at 4908 feet. The capital city of Meghalaya is one of the cleanest destinations within the world, consisting of wooden houses and Khasi ladies who carry children on their backs and leave for daily activities. there's no railway in Meghalaya. Thus, travelers can reach Guwahati by rail. From there, you'll rent a cab to Shillong. there's a high prevalence of hired cabs traveling between these two cities. There also are many buses from Guwahati railroad station to Shillong. It takes about three and a half hours to succeed in the town by car from Guwahati, the most important city in north-east India.
