Best Eateries on the East Coast
I first started by driving up to Virginia Beach, Virginia, on the way I felt my stomach growl, I grew more impatient so I stopped off at a place called, 11th Street Taphouse Bar and Grille.
I went into the establishment, sat down in a vibrant, social atmosphere, the people were friendly, and the staff were well managed. I ordered a Bikini Bottom Shrimp Cocktail, and Honey BBQ Wings.
The Honey BBQ Wings were amazing, they sauce was a mixture of Honey and Root Beer, was a vibrant, different, savoring taste, one that may be the most unique I've ever tasted.
The Bikini Bottom Shrimp Cocktail was to die for, I had two of them, my stomach growled in pleasure as I finished every bite, eating there was like riding a 40 ft. wave while eating a home made, hot and delicious meal off of your surf board.
I thanked the waitress, and enjoyed every step back to my vehicle, every step was a satisfied, and pleasurable step.
I headed to the beach right after, there I sat beside the ocean looking out at the vast waves, people and sunset. It was like a movie.
I headed to Pennsylvania, I arrived in White Haven, PA, stopped at the Powerhouse Eatery.
I ordered an Australian Rack of Lamb, it was mouth watering, juicy, flavorful, and delightful with every bite, I was in Heaven. It was a bit expensive, but why not splurge on a vacation?
I headed over to Gettysburg, the place is full of history, and attractions, one place inparticular was the Gettysburg Museum of History, the artifacts, pictures, memorabiilia was just so amazing, I learned a lot there. I decided to head off.
I took off headed for New York, the big lights, fancy cars, and people was the most beautiful sight you could imagine, the thundering bridges, beautiful scenery, and hospitality from everyone. Unlike what people may think about New York as being a hassle and annoying, it was very enjoyable.
I arrived at the Empire State Building, there you could see the skyline of New York, the sight of it was breath taking, each and every look into the vast buildings, the clear blue sky and the river front. Once I left there, I headed over to a place called Ellen's Stardust Diner, located at 1650 Broadway Street, between 50th Street and 51st Street. The Food was off the charts, it was a thrill and I would visit this location every time I went to New York. I sat down in an amazing atmosphere, I ordered, a Continental Breakfast, it was so delightful, it had muffins, bagels, and danish, with a big urn of coffee. Get this, you get a free show as well! The actors, staff, and people are amazing, so much laughter and happiness in one room, it's as if the world had no problems.
Finally I headed back to Gainesville, MO, pleased with my travels, I would go back and experience everything again.
