Scenic Views and Wonderful Walks

Yorba Regional Park is one of the most aesthetically pleasing, but easy to traverse, walks that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. There are no serious inclines or declines and every step of the walk boasts a new feature of the scenery to gawk at and gaze upon. My favorite feature of this park is the myriad of benches and tables to choose from; so if you aren't happy with the view from one area don't fret, there are way more to choose from on your adventure. If you are the type to enjoy renting bikes or paddle boats, and would like to know the price of admission and rentals, then I suggest visiting their main site to find out when the rentals become available for use.

Wildlife

As it concerns wildlife, this is probably one of the most active areas I have ever experienced. Whether it be geese, ducks, gulls, or squirrels you're certainly going to get your fill of the beautiful creatures. A fair warning to you if you've never come face to face with a flock of geese, however, these geese are just like any others and they will square up with the timid and small. If you have little children, or scared spouses, the geese will not hesitate to go toe to toe with them and they can cause serious injury. The squirrels are also quite the extroverted bunch, so if you bring food expect them to stalk you all throughout the park.

As always, please make sure you respect the local wildlife and live by the rule, "Leave no trace."

You would not want someone to come in your home and throw trash all over the place, ripping up the environment and screaming in your face; the animals deserve the same respect that you would wish to be shown.

Picnic and Play

Whether you want to have a place to let your kids run free, or you'd like to come for a birthday party or picnic, Yorba Regional Park is ready to accommodate your every need. There are always the lovely open and uncovered barbecue and picnic areas scattered throughout the entire park, many of which are right next to the jungle gyms, volleyball courts, and horseshoe ranges. If you'd prefer something covered or the weather isn't looking favorable for your select date, then the main office is always open to reservations of the large covered barbecue and picnic areas.

No matter what you fancy, Yorba Regional Park looks to deliver the highest quality experience both comfortably and affordably.

Hope to See You out There!

Should you ever find yourself around here in SoCal I hope you let me know, because it would be lovely to take a stroll with you through Yorba Regional Park and take part in all it has to offer together. It is always nice to see familiar faces on our walks, and even greater to know that we encouraged visitation and further support of our gorgeous regional parks.
