Cruise Line-Ships
Different Type of Cruise Ship
Cruise Ships with Sails
Whey to go and don't know why there are not more ships fitted with sails to compliment the power of an engine, it is not exactly anything new as they were building luxury floating palaces such as this over 100 years ago, saves on fuel as well, so prices should come down.
Tower Block at sea
Floating Hotel anyone
This is a large tower block that floats on the surface of the water only because of an ancient Greek philosopher's discovery of his principle that a body will float as long as it displaces its weight in water, the man was Archimedes of course.
Disney Cruise Ship
For the Kids
Great for the little ones of the family with all the entertainments one would expect from Mickey Mouse and company
Cunard Princess
Ship shape
From a purely personal view and this is what these hubs are of course just my own opinion, some of the cruise ships being built today are awful looking vessels compared with the look of some of the classic older passenger ships, but the are built for a slightly different purpose and in my humble opinion it would not be my idea of a holiday to be stuck beside some thousands of other strangers on a floating tower block and I don't care what amazing facilities and entertainments they provide but from my shipbuilders point of view some of the ships do look very nice such as the older Cunard ship above, "fit form and function" are the words used today, some call it progress.
