You would wonder it to be the place where the nightlife is buzzing around the streets with lots of foods and beverages being consumed by the locality and the travelers. I am sorry to say please remove all the presumptions like that.
It is the town that has the essence of Kathiawar and the true experience of famous hospitality of Saurashtra will be something to savor for a long time. Since the tourism in Gujarat and especially in Saurashtra region is growing faster since half a decade, it becomes extremely important as a residential in the town to provide the necessary information for tourist and nature loving people around the globe.
Dhari is situated in the western region of Gujarat known as Saurashtra, in district Amreli. The geographical coordinates of the town are:

The town has a population of around 30000 and it has buzzing market streets throughout the day until its night when people get back to their house and have the fun time with their family and friends. The town is surrounded by adjoined colonies called vekariyapara, waghapara, haripara, nabapara, linepara, prempara.
The town connected with the world by means of railway and public transport via road. The western railway meter gauge route connecting Dhasa to Junagadh and Verawal passes through the town. The railway transportation is relatively cheaper but enjoyable once the train enters the forest region of the GIR. The word of caution for the travelers: "Do not travel during festive seasons, and girnar parikrama (circumambulate) unless you want to experience on the roof of the train traveling." Such an adventurous isn't it?!! The public and private bus transportation is regularly available to be connected to district places like amreli, Junagadh, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, surat.

Dhari is the birth place of holy saint Yogiji Maharaj, the ancesstor of Shashtriji Maharaj and predecessor Pramukh swami maharaj of BAPS Swaminarayan Sansthan, the Hindu religious community in western india. The religious temples and shrines are the attraction in the town. The Jivenmukteshwar mahadev temple, narmadeshwar temple, trinetreshwar Mahadev temple are the Lord Shiva temple that gives followers the peace of mind and the strength withing their soul. The jalaram temple near nabapara, Ramdev peer temple near chorapa are also the places to visit. The Udhansha peer shrine is also famous among not only the muslim community but Hindus also visit and prey for their wishes. There are several mosque of Muslim, wahora communities and Khoja khana also. The town shows the amount secularism among the people with Hindu, Muslim, Khoja, wahora etc religions.
The khodiyar dam is among the tallest water reservoirs in Saurashtra built on shetrunji river. When filled completely with the river water in monsoon, the joy of viewing the beauty of man made civil engineering architecture.
The reservoir is named after hindu goddess ma Khodiyar, who as per ancient tale appeared out of the deep blue water in the river shetrunji. After that the temple is known as Galadhara Khodiyar Temple. The pilgrims around the region come to visit the temple frequently and feels the divine presence of goddess Khodiyar.

The replica of Devaliya National Park for lion in Sasan is being developed as The Ambardi National Park, 5Kms away from Dhari. The development work is almost finished, several lions are residing in the park along with other forest animals. The view of the park on the bank of river shentrunji near khodiyar dam gives more joy of witnessing the true spirit of nature while visiting the park. The park will be opened for a public visit soon by the government officials soon.
