Atlanta's Centennial Park

Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is home to more than sixty exhibits featuring fish, marine mammals, and much, much more. High Museum of Art
If you are an art lover, be sure to visit the High Museum of Art during your time in Atlanta. The museum's permanent exhibits include impressive collections of American, African, European, Art. Six Flags over Georgia
If you're a fan of amusement parks, Six Flags Over Georgia is a must-visit spot during your trip. Situated on one hundred acres, this amusement park features many rides for kids of all ages and is also a world class entertainment venue. There are plenty of child-oriented and family friendly rides, as well as numerous roller coasters and other thrill rides for those who enjoy a rush of adrenaline. Entertainment options include many regularly scheduled shows and parades, as well as periodic special event concerts.
Stone Mountain
No trip to the Atlanta area is complete without a visit to Stone Mountain Park. This unique park facility features many attractions that children and adults will find appealing. You can hike to the top of the mountain or take a high speed cable car ride to the top. Additional Stone Mountain attractions include a train ride around the mountain, the unique SkyHike adventure course that allows you to capture a bird's eye view as you walk across suspended wooden bridges, a laser light show, and much more. There are hotel, camping, dining, and shopping facilities in the park.
World of Coca Cola
If you love the refreshing flavor of Coca Cola and other beverages made by the renowned company, you'll likely enjoy a visit to the World of Coca Cola. You'll have an opportunity to learn about the origins of Coca Cola, as well as find out what's going on with the brand today and sneak a peek into what may be on the horizon. You'll have an opportunity to sample dozens of products available around the world, view a real bottling line in action, view Coca Cola themed artwork, and more.
Zoo Atlanta
If you're a fan of zoos, your Atlanta getaway has to include a visit to Zoo Atlanta. This zoo is home to one of the few panda exhibits in the United States, and is home to many additional animals that children and adults alike will enjoy having a chance to observe. Zoo residents include gorillas (including a baby, as of 2010!), tigers, sun bears, reptiles, goats, sea otters, and much more!
Underground Atlanta
Underground Atlanta is a six block section of Atlanta's downtown area where you can enjoy great shopping, dining, and entertainment during the day, as well as enjoy terrific nightlife after the sun goes down. At Underground, you can visit the fortune teller, taste homemade candy, shop for souvenirs, and more. While you're there, enjoy a great meal at Johnny Rockets, Scores Sports Bar & Restaurant, or one of the many other restaurants located in the Underground.
