Fintastic Day in Charleston Harbor

This unexpected guest glided by us in Charleston Harbor. He seemed lonely so glided near us for some time. The Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin seems prevalent in these waters. They appear quite friendly and quietly remind us to try and keep our waters clean and safe for everyone. The Charleston Waterkeeper program does their part by offering a service that travels by boat to different marinas and empties and cleans out via vacuum hoses the nasty gunk from toilet lines on both large and small vessels. The stuff that no one likes to talk about does not end up in the area waters, and helps us all digest the knowledge that feet, fins and friends and family are swimming in cleaner water.
