A vacation in Florida will be one of the happiest and fun-filled times in your life! There are uncountable places to visit, things to see, places to go and fun activities to do. Florida has several areas throughout the state that have numerous attractions to visit that will fill your days with delight and complete vacation fun.

You can expect to find some super hotspots in The Key West filled with Lush tropical gardens and beautiful sunsets. There you will be able to visit the Harry S. Truman White house. He was the 33rd President of the United States of America. There is the Lighthouse & Keepers Quarters that has been turned into a museum and visitors are allowed to climb the building. The Conch Tour Train that makes stops along the way for its passengers. This is a very nice tour of Key West filled with a lot of history. They also have the Key West Aquarium which is one of the oldest aquariums in Florida holding sea turtles, many colorful tropical fish, and sharks. The tour is guided and there are hands­on parts of the tour as well. Key West can become high dollar, however, if you plan right you can locate a ton of discounts, coupons, and free admissions on certain days.

If you love theme parks Florida definitely has some to choose from! There is Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, The Epcot Center, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and many, many more including a lot of water parks. You can purchase tickets online or at the door for these attractions. If you are looking for activities that are inexpensive, Florida has several options available for you. Lakeridge, Winery, and Vineyard is open daily for free tours and wine tasting and it lasts about a half hour. Jungle Island has free admission days as well as Monkey Island and The Flamingo Gardens. Many of these offer free or low admissions to military and their families as well. In Orlando, there are a couple Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museums where they display bizarre and highly unusual claims. They also have free parking for their guests. You can plan a trip to The Wizard World of Harry Potter’s Museum There are several botanical garden parks, family parks and forests to visit.

There are just tons of fine dining restaurants and theaters, museums and science centers, loads of clubs for your nightlife and a lot of festivals to attend. If you are lucky enough to make one of your travels a vacation in Florida you will never have to sit still, unless you prefer luxurious beaches to relax and tan on. The entire state is flocked full of tourist attractions and there is so much history available to learn while you are having fun. You can go online and plan your vacation or use a travel agent. Depending on how you intend on traveling to Florida make a checklist. If you travel by air you will need to verify what you are allowed to carry on the plane. If you are going by car make sure you carry some water, jumper cables, a jack and a flashlight with new batteries. If you have children riding with you make sure you pack entertainment for their car ride as well.
