Great Lunches at low prices in Orange, California
In N Out Burger
In and Out Burger is an all time favorite stop for my family, and its fairly cheap if you are wanting something tasty and quick!
We often get the extra grilled onions on our cheeseburgers from there, which make them extra tasty. If you haven't ever had the grilled onions, you will want to get those. Whenever we are traveling around different places, if there is an In N Out Burger, we will try to work it in somehow. The reason is the affordability, the consistency in great taste and quality, and just the fun atmosphere. Its fresh and inviting and has wonderful root beer and shakes. I can't ever decide what shake to get, vanilla, strawberry or chocolate, but any of them are always a great choice.
If you have not been to an In and out burger before, don't be put off by their very simple menu. They pretty much only have burgers and fries and drinks and shakes. The thing is, they are all great. The french fries are a thinner type, and come in a little tray. Try In N Out if you haven't the next time you are in an area that has one. I know California has several. You will struggle to find better quality "fast food" than this for the price.

Duke's Hamburbers
This is a fun place to go when you are in Orange, California, and the burgers are just wonderful. Duke's has been known for their burgers for some time. There are many different kinds of foods there, and they always have specials so you will want to ask about or look for those. As for affordability, you definitely get a great value, and there are refills on their drinks. My experience with their service was exceptional all the times I have been there. I like it when I feel they are on top of their service, and truly caring about customers, and showing patience when sometimes we are indecisive. I asked what their favorite items were and they were more than happy to share. They are also open for breakfast, and I have heard their breakfast burritos are great.
I recall the last burger I got there was just huge! I was taking my dad there after being out all morning. I had given him a couple of choices to choose from for lunch, and he wanted to go to Duke's because he always likes it and has some happy memories from there. He and some of his buddies would go there on occasion and get some lunch. The french fries, and onion rings are good, as are the shakes.

Valentino's Pizza in Orange, California
If it is pizza you are craving, but want a relatively inexpensive lunch option, why not try Valentino's Pizza? Its great, and a great value. It is casual, and great for groups. There is both delivery and take out options, and its kid friendly as well. I was told their dough, sauce, and meatballs were made from scratch daily. You can't beat the prices with those kinds of homemae options. Here is their basic information:

My other two recommendations were on Chapman Road, but Tustin Avenue isn't far either. They are super cheap, so its great for when traveling or just as an inexpensive lunch option. You can get a large one topping pizza for $5.99, and the Hawaiian is great, though I love all of them.
