Hotels in America Vs. Hotels in Tunisia

Here in America, we search for a hotel that is in our price range and close to our destination. If we look online, we look at the views posted in the past to see what other people thought about the room. Sometimes we also like to know what accommodations the hotel has to offer.

Some American hotels offer a spa and a gym. Most have outdoor pools, and some offer indoor pools. Some even go out of their way to provide a laundry room. Of course, you have to pay more to stay at these hotels. When was the last time you stayed in an American hotel that offered free nightly entertainment with your stay? Could you imagine the price you would pay for one night at one of these hotels?

I had a friend who stayed in a hotel in Los Vegas, where you had to pay an extra $35 to get to use the pool. That is an outrage. One of the main things people look for when getting a hotel room is, does it have pool accommodations? And now you have to pay to use the pool. That is what you call some greedy hotel owners. And I am sure the room wasn't cheap either with it been in Los Vegas.

In the tourist areas, you can find tickets to the theme parks included in the hotel room package.

Even when you get a hotel on the beach, you are pretty much just paying for a room, a pool, some few extra things. But you will never find a hotel in America as you do in Tunisia.

The hotels in America are just plain to me now after seeing what all Tunisia hotels offer for the same amount of money as you would spend on an American hotel.

The hotels in Tunisia are nothing like those here in America. Especially if you stay in one of the tourist areas, if you were to ever stay in a tourist area hotel during the summer, you will always frown upon the American hotels after that.

When you first arrive at one of the hotels in Tunisia, you will first have to speak with the security officer. Because you can't just drive into the hotel, the front of the hotels is gated off, guarded off by a security officer, and only customers can enter.

At every tourist hotel in Tunisia, you will not only find a gym at the hotel, but it also has a personal trainer on site. These guys and women known as “animators“ are hired to keep the tourist happy during their stay.

The hotels offer aqua aerobics, volleyball down by the beach, put-put golf, archery, spas, and many more activities.

There is always a lifeguard on duty by the pools, who is quite entertaining themselves.

All the hotels offer a Kiddy Club. The Kiddy Club offers the children many activities to do of their own while their parents are off enjoying the things they enjoy doing.

The animation team learns new dances to perform for their hotel guests. There are karaoke nights, movie nights, and many other things to make their guests have an enjoyable stay.

Most of the workers will speak Arabic, French, Italian, German, English, Russia. They are very fluent in the languages so they can communicate with the several nationalities that come there to visit their country.

You will also find police officers down on the beach, to help secure the beaches from any harm for your safety.

The only thing about Tunisia hotels you can't stay in a hotel room (man & woman) unless you are married. So you do have to show proof of your marriage license to remain in the same hotel room.
