Take the Quiz below!

I first visited Central Park back in 1978 and have been back a couple of times since. I thought I knew the park fairly well but, on a recent visit with my wife (her first time), I realised that I had only just scratched the surface. Impressed by the sheer size and variety that Central Park has to offer, I have put together this photographic quiz to let you test your knowledge of Central Park. I hope you enjoy the challenge!

Central Park: Size Covers 843 Acres!

Central Park is 2.5 miles long, between 59th Street (Central Park South) and 110th Street (Central Park North), and 0.5 miles wide between Fifth Avenue and Central Park West. Covering 843 acres, it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in New York, receiving approximately thirty-five million visitors annually, making it the most visited urban park in the United States.

How well do you know Central Park?

For all of its popularity, as we walked the full length and breadth of the park, it occurred to me that most of the visitors only ever see the southern end of the park. In fact, I even wondered how many native New Yorkers have seen the full extent of the park?

Now is your chance to see how well you know Central Park. Here are ten photos taken around the Park. Take this quiz to see how many you can identify! Good luck!

Test your knowledge - where in Central Park were these photos taken?
