How to Get the Very Best Most Discounted Hotels You Can Possibly Get.

How to get the very best most discounted hotels you can possibly get. L wil show you how to double and triple stack hotel discounts. I can sometimes get and additional 20% off already discounted hotel rooms on sale.

I have been fortunate enough to spend the last 4 years of my life traveling across the world and staying in a whole panoply of hotels, good and bad. I’ve earned a lot of experience in the process.

I have spent months living out of a suitcase and after a while your hotel stays start to seriously add up. At many points along the way I started to look at way to reduce my accommodations expenses and started to figure out ways to reduce my hotel costs. Often I can get better deals then even Airbnb’s, especially if you are traveling alone or in a pair.

What I learned really quickly is that hotels and travel sites will never give you their best price, no matter how “discounted” they tell you they are. They always “pad” their prices. Also strive for additional discounts and you will find them.

My technique involves first and foremost sticking to a good travel platform that earns me good rewards and then stacking additional discounts on top of that for maximum savings.

Follow my 3 easy steps:

1) Setup an account on hotels.com.

As far as hotel booking sites go I strongly believe that no on beats hotels.com. Why? Simply because they will give you a free hotel night for every 10 hotel nights you book with them. Essentially it’s like getting a 10% discount on their already excellent prices.

The thing I like the most is that it works with every hotel chain and you can redeem those nights in most countries of the world. So it’s extremely flexible. I have redeemed dozens of nights successfully and its extremely simple.

Additionally, I will add that their customer service is very helpful and always help you resolve you issues. For example I once booked a 3 night stay in a hotel which turned out to be the wrong date – I called them up and their handled everything with the hotel directly at no cost.

So basically I use hotels.com for everything.

2) Now you need to open an account with Rakuten.com (formely “ebates”)

By using Rakuten.com as your shopping portal you will get 2-4% cash back on your hotels.com bookings. If you decide that you don’t want to earn free nights on hotels.com they generally offer you a 10% discount.

However by keeping the free night plus the 2-4% cash back you effectively receive 12 to 14% off.

Rakuten.com will even pay you 10$ when you spend your first 25$ through them by using my link here.

You can redeem the cash back directly by paypal and it’s totally legit.

All you have to do is go to Rakuten.com (or download the App on your mobile) and then go to hotels.com from there and do your booking. You can keep track of your pending rewards from your account.

As an alternative you can also check out "BeFrugal" which offers similar discounts.

3) Get additional cash back by booking your hotels with your favorite cash back credit cash.

I currently use an American Express “Blue” Card which generally gives me an extra 2% cash back on my hotel bookings as long as I use that card on checkout.

I like it because you don’t need a very high credit score and there is 0 annual fee.

I also use a low-credit rating Discover Cash Back card which gives me 2% cash back within the first year plus 0 annual fees.

Use my link here and Discover will literally give you 50$ free just for using the card once.

There are many other cards that can give you additional cash back if you have access to those however they are usually high credit score type cards. I highly recommend that you do your own research and find what works best for you.

That effectively gives you an extra 14 to 16% discount when you add it all up. This could be money you have been throwing down the drain all this time, or at least it was for me until I started using this triple stacking strategy.

So there you have it. Enjoy your free money. I am still looking for other ways to get deeper discounts. I am trying to see how to add another layer or discount, I will update this post when I figure that one out!
