What To Do On Last Day Of Vacation?
EARLY MORNING LAST DAY OF VACATION
It is Friday, 6:50 AM, and the children next to me — my son, and nephew — are still asleep. Can you feel my smile.
Most children are preparing for school here in Florida, and in New York where we are from, but not my sister or my kids. We are trying to figure out what to do this last day before we go back to New York and a new school year.
MY REQUEST OF IDEAS
My fifteen year old niece said she just wanted to stay in and relax. My sister wants to treat us all to an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet. My son, my nephew, and my six year old niece did not have a coherent thought more less an idea. Play with games is what I think I got from them. I dismissed that because, I have played games with them. It is not fun. Well for me it is not fun.
A GOOD IDEA FROM AN EIGHT YEAR OLD
My eight year old niece said she wanted to go to the pool. I am actually okay with that one. Of course I said to all that we should pack the day before so we could have one last great day of fun before we leave out Saturday.
I did not even pack yesterday. None of us have, and there are eleven of us.
Well, for today, we may be inside all day packing.
