Take a Sunday Afternoon Cruise Around Lake Union Aboard Argonaut II

I was a retired teacher and live-aboard in Seattle. Now I'm back to teaching in a remote area of New Mexico.

People usually think of far-off, exotic places when I say I'm going cruising on my classic wooden yacht (translation: big, old, wooden boat). But since we have jobs and other responsibilities, much of our cruising is done very close to home. The Puget Sound area has endless cruising locations, anchorages, sightseeing, and adventures. However, when there's just an afternoon, a cruise around Lake Union is fun and interesting. As many times as we have done this little trip and seen these same sights, I never get tired of it.

On this particular Sunday, we were participating in a Classic Yacht Association excursion and potluck honoring our new Commodore. Come on along!

Time to Go Back Home to the Marina

The weather was wonderful, the company was great, and the food was fantastic; but it's time to go back to the marina. See you next time!
