Let Your Kids Bounce Off the Walls at Sky High in Orange County, CA
Bring your kids to a place where bouncing off the walls in not only allowed, but encouraged! With locations in California, Washington, Oregon and Illinois, Sky High provides a unique and incredibly fun environment for the kid in all of us. With several areas whose floors and walls are covered in trampolines, this place cannot be beat for healthy fun.
Sky High costs just $10 per hour for jumpers, and is free for parents and spectators. There are viewing and picture taking areas as well. Once inside, an array of courts are available for your jumping pleasure. One is strictly for jumping/bouncing off the floor and walls. Another is a smaller version of the same, that is only for kids 8 years old and younger. A third area has a series of trampolines that lead up to a huge, foam pit for displaying your best jump, flip or other aerial maneuver. The fourth court is for dodgeball. Two Sky High employees referee games of jumping dodgeball that take place throughout the day. A fifth court is available to reserve for private parties.
In your downtime (if there is actually such a thing at Sky High) you can play video games, take silly pictures in the photo booth, load up on sugar from the row of candy machines, or grab a snack in the snack bar. Sky High also offers aerobics classes, official dodgeball tournaments and birthday parties. Several separate party rooms allow for private celebrations, complete with cake, and gift opening.
After visiting the Costa Mesa, California facility, I found it to be clean, organized and well supervised. Please note that it is also pretty popular, and can get busy on the weekends. If you plan to go on a weekend or holiday (this place is open 365 days a year) make sure to book on-line about two days prior. That way you can schedule the hour/s you want to jump to ensure that you do not have to wait once you arrive. I took my son and his friends to Sky High tonight. We arrived at 7:00pm, and the first available jump time was not until 9:30pm. On another note, if your child plans to go with someone other than yourself, your must send them with a signed waiver. You can find the waiver on Sky High's website. See the link below.
I would highly recommend Sky High to active kids of all ages. It offers social play, exercise, agility practice, friendly competition and lots and lots of endorphins to go with it all. The price is less than a movie, and the parking is free. Check out Sky High with your favorite "kids" today!
