Ligerz
Ligerz is a village with its own community in the administrative district Biel / Biennedes Swiss Canton Bern. The formerly independent Reformed parish Ligerz forms since January 1, 2010, together with the former parish Twann-Tüscherz the merged parish Pilgerweg Bielersee. The municipality also includes the WeilerSchernelz, Bipschal and the west of the Twannbachs located part Kleintwanns. The southwestern German-speaking hamlet Schafis (French Chavannes) belongs politically to La Neuveville, postal to Ligerz.

Ride with The Funicular and Enjoy The Amazing Lake View
Walk from Pilgrimweg/Festi to Panoramic Trail
The funicular will make a first intermediate stop in Pilgrimweg/Festi.
Walk to the Vinifuni-Panoramaweg through the vineyards of Shernelz to Ligerz.
The panorama restaurant "Aux Trois-Amis" invites you to linger and spoil guest with local delights, such as fish from lake Biel.
It takes about 45 minutes hiking, and the walking route is signposted with white-green signs.
One can ride with Vinifuni Funicular from Prêles back to Ligerz and from Ligerz with the train or passenger ship to Biel.
