The first thing that comes to mind when I hear "Nara" is deers. Lots of them. Petting them would be great. Oh, you can feed them too?! Wow, Nara the land of friendly deers. But the truth is, Nara is not all about deers. There are lots to see and visit in Nara especially during the Autumn season.

3. Mount Wakakusa

Climb up to the peak of Mount Wakakusa and watch before your eyes the city of Nara at your foot steps. Watch peacefully on the grounds as families and children feed or runaway from deers. Savour every moment of this beauty.

Nara is a great spot for Nature Walks and Momiji hunting during Autumn.
