The Chevy Chase district is a neighborhood filled with culture and lifestyle. Located between Tates Creek Road and Richmond Road and between Chinoe Road and Clay Avenue, it is a prime location in Lexington, Kentucky for shopping, recreation, local events, and much more. This neighborhood is such an icon in Lexington, Kentucky that there is an online magazine devoted to the area called Chevy Chaser Magazine.
The Chevy Chase district is quite diverse with historic homes to modern homes. Whether you are looking to rent a room for college, rent a single-family home, or buy a home, Chevy Chase district is a good neighborhood to start. There are one bedroom homes to homes with up to nine bedrooms.
If you are looking to buy a home, Chevy Chase has houses ranging from $175,000 to $1,700,000. However, the average price of houses in this neighborhood cost around $421,000. There are also a variety of townhouses, duplexes, and condos in the area. Many of the homes were built before 1939 but you will still find some that were built after the 1940s.

This neighborhood isn't far from the University of Kentucky, thus making it convenient for the UK basketball fan.

Woodland Park is on the north side of the neighborhood and features a pool, skateboarding park, playground, tennis courts, horseshoes, plenty of picnic areas, and much more. The UK Arboretum is a walk or bike ride away. With the colorful plants stretching over 100-acres, this serene environment is the perfect place to let the stress of the day melt away.
Shopping and restaurant opportunities abound in this area. Many of the shops and restaurants are locally owned and operated. Some of the most preferred restaurants and bars in the area include Billy's BBQ, Zuni Cafe, Buddy's Bar and Grill, Charlie Brown's Restaurant and Lounge, and Blue Moon Saloon just to name a few. Also not far from the Chevy Chase district is McCarthy's Irish bar, which is a community favorite. Cheapside Park is also close by and is always having events in the evening throughout the week for residents to kick back and enjoy life.
