Oregon Wine-Lets wine at the Swine!

Updated on November 8, 2012

Oregon land of wine, pine and places to dine!

Have you discovered the many wonderful adventures available in Oregon! Coastal sea shores, luscious dense forests, mountain tops covered with snow and......delicious wines! I have found a website you must visit, enjoy the family flavor of love and caring just by reading the bio of how this family came to settle in Oregon after living in Southern Calif- and then we must make a Trip and "Sip till we Flip" for this wonderful tasty drink. Noble Pig is the name, wine is the game. And judging from the many pictures, I feel sure this family plays together often.

Kathy is the dreamer who finally had the opportunity to make her dream of being a winemaker come true when she and her husband moved their family to Mcminnville, Oregon. Their wines include:

Pinot Noir

Pinot Gris

Pinot Blanc

Kathy is a very clever lady, as she has included something special for each person on her website: a blog for those who love to blog, recipes for the chef or wanta be chefs, a bio that shares their search and creation of this fantastic winery and photos of the winery and the family that will make you want to plan your next vacation in her direction!

Special tasting tours are available for groups, large or small by appointments and of course I'm sure they love drop in "tasters" during open hours.

I'm not going to waste your time here on my hub when you can go direct to their website an d learn all you wish to know about Kathy and her dream come true.

Happy tasting at the Nobel Pig and as for places to dine, I bet Kathy has some great places to tell you about and I will add a few links for you to check out.

Nick's Italian Cafe

Bistro Maison

We missed seeing the Noble Pig on our vacation trip to Oregon years ago. Nice hearing about it from your perspective. I like your drawing stating that yes...you are indeed 21. Cute! Voted up.
