Phil's Barbecue Restaurant At San Diego
Best bbq ever in San Diego
The best American barbecue and ribs
If there’s one great American barbecue yet, I’d say its Phil’s barbecue in Point Loma, San Diego California. I visited Phil’s some four or five years ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. They started as a backyard barbecue cottage industry and ultimately found their way into their customer’s appetites, fanning a client base of thousands of average Joes a month visiting their outlets. It’s not a surprise at Phil’s and I think what tops their succulently fabulous barbecue is the way they take care of their customers – and business of course. The owners are their to see to it that everything tops well above the ordinary and personally, that’s just makes a great connection to every ordinary folk enjoying their meals. This great diner, with a true American West story to it, makes everyone just feel at home. Customer service is commendable. Even if there are many people queuing up to wait for their orders, the waiters make sure right after to serve your order on time. The management does not make a fuss even if you order a couple more additional gravy or sauce to your favorite rib platter. I observed that this has become a local family favorite and in fact made its way in creating an American tradition. The Phils BBQ culture is just contagious. And the food – its superb. I don’t know what they put into their sauces but coupled with their marinated tender meat, it would just melt into your mouth that you’ll keep digging for more. I’m pretty sure that I am not the only one who’ve had a great American experience at Phil’s, because for the millions more out there, its part of a wonderful food experience in San Diego.
