Photo Gallery: A Tribute to Paris

I love red anthuriums! They brighten up those shady spots in my garden. They also make long lasting cut flowers.

The world watched in horror as the tragedy unfolded on the streets of Paris on Friday, November 13, 2015. It is unimaginable and incomprehensible that something of this magnitude could happen to Paris. For many of us, Paris is – and will always be – a city of timeless beauty, charm, romance, culture and arts. Violent bloodshed, senseless massacre, fears, angers, sadness have nothing to do with Paris. Never.

The photos in this gallery remind us of the true Paris, not the Paris that we saw on the news of that awful day. Taken by the author when he was in Paris in August 2015 (3 months before the terror attacks), these photos show the City of Light during daytime and in the evening when the city comes to life and is full of joie de vivre. The Paris that we all love.
