Pictures or Pics of Daytona Beach, Florida

Updated on June 13, 2016

The winter chill

It is February 2011; this winter has been the coldest, snowiest winter I can remember. I am yearning for the long, sultry days of summer to return to this frigid, barren wasteland called the South. The South is where winters are supposed to be mild and meek. This is the place where everyone runs to the store for milk and bread when the weather forecaster calls for a dusting. Instead, this year we received not one but two good snows. Our entire city was shut down for 3 days due to nine inches of snow, because we never see that much snow (except for the blizzard of 1993). And we have it easy compared to the rest of the country.

Anyway, since I was yearning for the return of summer and in dire need of warmth, I decided to immerse myself into my memories of a long ago trip to Daytona Beach, Florida. Immediately, I could feel the hot sun beating down on me, while the warm ocean breeze caressed my skin. The pounding of the ocean played faintly through my mind while the rest of my senses drank in the sensations my memories created.

It was at that very moment, I realized how selfish I was being. Why not share these memories and allow the rest of the world to feel the warmth?. So everyone here is some beautiful Daytona Beach, Florida pictures. I hope you enjoy them, and they warm you up some.
