Beautiful Rohtang Pass
Going from Shimla to Manali means the Rothang Pass Trip, a road about 13,500 feet (4,000 m) above sea level, where heaven would seem to be in the palm of your hand. Rothang Pass can be reached via Kothi, Gulaba Valley, Marhi on the Keelong Leh National Highway, 50 km from Manali. Roads are open from mid-May and open until November. The Rohtang Pass is closed for snowfall throughout the winter. It snowed in the city of Manali in February. Then you can go to Kothi. Gulaba Valley opens in March. Marhi in April. The Rohtang Pass road is open in May.
Kothi is the entry point from Manali to Rohtang Pass. After that, permission was granted to get a car permit in Gulaba Valley. Marhi or Rotang Pass falls in the line of tourists during the April-May peak season. About 1200-1500 cars are allowed every day. Rothang Pass is closed on Tuesdays. During this time you can enjoy ice skiing, snow biking, paragliding, all kinds of adventure sports. The Solang Valley can be reached by taking the road on the right from Palchan on the way back from Manali to Rothang Pass. In fact, the Rothang Pass separates the two valleys, Kullu and Lahul. Leh is the entry point to Ladakh and this is Rohat.

Vehicles allowed to go to Rohtang Pass from Gulaba Valley. In this case, tourists do not need any identity card. The driver of the car, have to take the permit in advance with his identity card.
