Sesame Place - A Holiday Location for Family Fun and Pictures
The start of December is when many holiday lights and decorations go up. If you live in Pennsylvania or will be visiting the area, considering making a visit to Sesame Place with children and the family. During this time the theme park features a beautifully lit holiday Christmas tree and the "Sesame Street" neighborhood is decked out with holiday lights. It makes an interactive and fun destination for family fun and holiday photo-taking.
During the month of December, Sesame Place also puts on various holiday shows complete with its most beloved characters, including Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie, Count Von Count, Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Grover, Oscar the Grouch and other Sesame Street characters. The evening activities is complete with a parade route down the Sesame Street neighborhood where all the characters come out in separate floats, dancing to music and waving to the crowd of onlookers.
General admission to Sesame Place is $19.99 during the holidays (kids under 2 are admitted FREE). Park hours typically open at 1pm, except for Friday's, at 4pm (check the schedule). Paid parking is also available for $10 (all day).
