One of the Most Beautiful City in the World

Rio de Janeiro is such an amazing city that I love to visit because of its incredible beauty and beaches. Because of the region’s incredible attractions and vibrant traditions, I urge you to experience this city at least once. You can also find that there are about 6.3 million citizens around, no wonder this city is called the second most crowded city in Brazil. Thus, it has so many attractions and beautiful beaches. What city in Brazil is the most populated? Yeah, it’s Sao Paulo, but it just doesn’t compare to the beauty of Rio de Janeiro. When it comes to tourism, Rio de Janeiro wins by a landslide. The seven major districts in Rio are North Zone (Zona Norte), Centro South Zone (Zona Sul), West Zone Peripheries (Zona Oeste), Barra de Tijuca, Campo Grande, and Santa Cruz. No doubt that this richness by Rio makes this city very prominent to receive the Summer Olympics event in 2016. It doesn’t stop there; Rio is also the host for the annual Rio Carnival which is the world’s largest carnival with a great number of people per day attending. How many? 2 million! Fantastic number! Truly, there are a bunch of reasons to describe why Rio is utterly beautiful to visit!

Fantastic Beaches

We now know that Rio de Janeiro is a lovely, tropical city, meaning that you can enjoy the beaches while lying peacefully out in the sun. One of the beautiful tropical beaches is Prainha. You can relax by enjoying the lovely white sands, buying drinks, and foods on this beautiful beach. However, if you want to explore the most popular beach destinations, then visit Copacabana. Barra da Tijuca is another popular beach where athletes frequently visit. It’s the longest beach in Rio. You can enjoy seeing all those well-toned bodies by day and the party scenes by night. The smallest beach maybe Praia Vermelha, but it is well liked by tourists. It is definitely the place to be. Why? Because of its distinguished cable cars that take the tourists up to the very top of the 1,300-foot Sugarloaf Mountain. The reddish sand and secluded location are to die for along because of where the beach lies and how calm the water. The tiny park behind the beach is perfect for a family outing. But what is so cool about my stay is the Brazilians are entertaining and helpful people, and that is fascinating by itself.

Do you want to sunbathe and drink coconut? Ipanema beach might be the place for you to go. If you are wondering what the beach looks because of the famous song "The Girl from Ipanema", then you want to visit it just to see the toned tan bodies of both women and men. However, if you like beach games, this beach is the perfect place for you. Take your sports equipment and enjoy the time! Prepare your camera to capture any beautiful things you find here!

Amazing Weather

The next question you may have, when is the best time to visit Rio? The best time to visit Rio De Janeiro, with regards to the environment, is between May and August. The area is perfectly chilled by winds, while the temperature continues to be at around 22–32°C, and the sky is likely to be visible. You may not want to visit between December and March, which is the rainy season. During that period, it’s a little moister, with the temperature flying around 40°C. Regardless, what the weather is at any given time, Rio is still my favorite place on earth to visit.

Lovely Places to Enjoy

The most memorable things about my sightseeing were all the alluring sounds of samba, Rio’s residents, called Cariocas, who seemed to master the ability of happy living. Then, there are the world’s well-known seashores of Copacabana and Ipanema, to the breathtaking mountain view of Pão de Açúcar and Corcovado, to the dancing places, cafes, as well as the open-air restaurants. All these marvelous places are mind-blowing and worth watching. This beautiful, heavenly place has captivated me and many visitors for hundreds of years. You can cruise the great breaks off Prainha, walk through Tijuca’s jungles, travel all around Guanabára, and dance in Lapa or just enjoy on Ipanema Beach. Either way, I had the BEST the time of my life!

Which city would you chose to visit for a week vacation?
