Southport town lies to the north of the city of Liverpool at 16.5 miles and also 14.8 miles west-southwest of the city of Preston in UK. Founded in 1792 by William Sutton when he opened a hotel, where the first houses of this town were built, Southport is the jewel of the North West's coastline and one of the most popular seaside resorts in the UK.
