A whole day travel with friends

Weekend is a time to relax and rest for the whole week of working. But for me and my friends, it's time to enjoy life the way we like. We love to go to different beautiful places. I've been to Boracay in Aklan twice, Puerto Pricesa, Palawan and Ililo, places here in the Philippines with the best tourists destinations. At first, I never thought that even here in Luzon, just in the neighbor provinces of Metro Manila, there are still beautiful places that I would ever appreciate as much as I did with those places I mentioned earlier. I don't say that these places I am telling you are as glamorous as those of above but, to think that they are very much accessible, and that we don't have to spend lots of money, who's not going to appreciate them?

Photos you are seeing here are places we've been in just a day, last March. I guess the day was March 13. It was a long journey. We spent a whole day on the road. We used motorbikes. We love motorbikes.

We had conquered Rizal and Laguna provinces. Rizal really has a lot of good places to visit. The old Teresa Church, Hinulugang Taktak in Antipolo, Antipolo Church, Daranak Falls in Tanay and many more. Laguna as well. We've been to Mabitac church. This church is unusual because before you reach the entrance, you need to pass through a stairway with 96 steps. When you're up there, you can see the beautiful views of the green fields. The church history is also interesting. According to history, the bottom half of it is in below the ground. It was buried on a landslide long time ago. Then after in Mabitac church, we went to Caliraya lake. Yes it is a lake but a man-made one. So unique. It's so wide that you would not think it was a man-made lake. It also has a beautiful view. We spent time to rest there.

Going back home, I thought, "end of the journey" but I was wrong. We used another way so we could pass to Cogio in Antipolo where there is an over-looking spot. There you could see the city below and there's a perfect spot to see the sunset. When it's totally dark, little by little, the city will be covered of light, glittering and glowing everywhere. Very beautiful to look at.

That was a very nice experience. I was so happy and glad that I have special friends and someone to share those things with.

I thank God for giving me them, and also for creating such wonderful places.
