Splitsville Bowling Alley
by Amber Maccione
Tampa's Splitsville Bowling Alley and Lounge
As a mother of a 15 month old son, I would never have imagined going bowling on our family vacation. But as we looked for a place to eat, my son's father thought we should try it. With hesitation, I agreed. Splitsville exceeded my expectations.
They were very accommodating. They provided electric bumpers, which came up only when it was my son's turn to bowl, and they also provided a bowling ball slide so my son was able to roll the ball himself. It was such a pleasant experience and my 15 month old son had a blast, beating me by 8 points too!
The food wasn't bad either. I would put it up there with Chili's and Applebee's type of menu. They had pizza, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and fries just to name a few things on the menu. All lanes had their own table area. There was also a lounge area and bar.
If bowling isn't your thing, there is also pool tables for you to shoot some pool.
Overall, I was impressed by the cleanliness and accommodating staff. I would definitely take my family there again. We had a blast and my son loved it even though he is only 15 months old!
