The Heart Never Stops Yearning
The Heart Never Stops Yearning
My life is different from one side of the world to this unique life. I discovered new places, people, and cultures too.
Living in the southern part of Croatia has allowed me to experience life freely and happily.
My place of birth is called Pietermaritzburg; the historic city is situated in the northwest of Durban, with Ulundi. It is proposed as the capital of KwaZulu-Natal.
Many gracious and stately Victorian buildings survive in the city centre and shady parks are an attractive feature.
The district yields timber and dairy produce. A well-established city with greater improvement over the years has increased in population and tourism.
There are many spectacular sights of my beautiful country I so much miss and wish to travel to soon. I have been to other parts of the Republic of South Africa and the beauty of my birth country makes me feel more at home.
When I look at photos, I feel a shiver run down my spine yearning for that special time with the hairs on my skin standing all on straight ends.
One of my best trips enjoyed was a while ago.
We travelled to Sun City Resort it was a long drive, but I was curious to explore this Palace.
The architectural fantasy is a palace of the Lost City a luxury hotel set in a forest of exotic trees situated in North-West Province and is the only residence insight.
The entertainment was a wonderful experience. A person by the name of Sol Kerzner developed this idea and the entertainment is mind-blowing.
Golf activities, theatre, cinemas, casinos, and water activities are among the many activities the food is another great choice and so much more for one to enjoy in this fun place.
I just loved the exquisite idea of developing such a place of entertainment in the middle of nowhere land makes it even more special.
Magaliesberg
A low range of mountains in a place called Gauteng. I had no idea of this mountain during my travels. I came across this huge mountain I felt so little while looking up to admire the natural sight.
I was breathless for a moment and when I spotted the enormous mountain I stared with disbelief.
The highest peak is thousand seven hundred eighty meters above sea level.
Although the range rarely rises more than three hundred meters above the surrounding ground level it is a popular recreation area.
KwaZulu Natal is one of nine provinces of South Africa, an area famous for its temperate weather and warm set currents.
The coastline is dotted with resorts and seaside villages perched between subtropical forests and golden beaches.
The midlands stretch in this region is between the coast and the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, where wildflowers grow in profusion and snowfalls transform the landscape overnight.
The province is the traditional home of most of South Africa's Zulu people.
My trip to Cape Town was extraordinary.
It was the first time when I had tasted crayfish and loved that unique taste.
I had such a great time visiting one of the best places in the world.
It is called South Africa's ''Mother City.''
The oldest and southernmost early settlement now is the capital of the Western Cape and the legislative capital of the country.
It was initially founded as a refreshment station for ships en route to the East from the magnificent setting of its city centre.
Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak, Lion’s Head, and Signal Hill are suburbs that sprawl along almost the whole of the Cape Peninsula and northwards to Bellville.
The restaurants, museums, library, gardens the cathedral, were some of my favourite spots to browse through.
Robin Island where the former late President Nelson Mandela spent most of his prison life is one of the most visited sights I have not yet been to and plan to on my next visit.
I passed by Kimberley the diamond-mining centre of the Northern Cape two thousand meters above sea level at the geographical centre of the Republic of South Africa.
It was founded as diamond-diggings on the farm Vooruitzicht in 1871 and was named after the British colonial secretary, the Earl of Kimberley.
It was unsuccessfully besieged by the Boers from November 1899 to February 1900 while their archenemy, Cecil Rhodes who called Kimberley his ''foster mother,'' was in residence. It has several cultural and industrial museums.
Kimberley is famous for its big hole, the world's largest excavation dug by hand, with a mean diameter of four hundred meters and a depth of three hundred and sixty-six meters.
It is currently partly filled with water as seen in the photo.
The other wonderful part of South Africa is the Orange River which plunges ninety-one meters into a narrow gorge at the Augrabies Falls.
In full flood, the river forms nineteen separate cascades and a huge column of spray into the air.
It is South Africa's longest river flowing about two thousand kilometres from its source in Lesotho to the Atlantic Ocean. Previously it was called the Gariep and was renamed after the former Dutch royal house.
Here I am currently living in lovely Croatia the most southern part and my memories of my South Africa remain within. I plan to visit again and travel to other places there is so much to enjoy and be entertained with after all life is about exploring and experiences.
Croatia is a South European country that was one of the more prosperous parts of the former Yugoslavia. Many tourists used to visit the sunny beaches along its Dalmatian coast.
Both tourism and industry suffered severely as a result of the civil war in early 1990. The country was under Hungarian, and later Habsburg, control from 1102 until 1918. Croatia declared its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.
The Capital is Zagreb
I visited Zagreb once before and would like to go back again to experience a much faster lifestyle than where I am now.
My travel to other parts of Croatia will be soon. Wildlife is one of the main attractions in South Africa. I have learned a lot from The African Nature Reserves and Game Parks.
I visited the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa known as the Pretoria Zoo. Pretoria is the Executive Capital of the Republic of South Africa. Set among the hills and overlooked by Union Buildings.
My visit to Pretoria was enjoyed with the family the moments we can laugh and talk about through our great journey in life.
I have been to many parts of South Africa and now plan to focus on my development in Croatia until I can travel to many parts of Europe. In all that I have experienced thus far my best travels were in South Africa, I tend to do the same in Croatia but in due course.
New experiences bring joy to one’s heart and the knowledge becomes greater with time. When you have a goal work toward it and never give up on what you want from life.
You never know how will be looking at your life in the present and avoid dwelling on the past that thought will not get you anywhere further.
Most important love what you do and be happy with your choices. Life is not always as you plan as unpredictable as it is be focused and make decisions with great thought.
