The Hidden Beauty and History
A World worth seeing
The world I see
A hidden valley paradise covered in green and flowing crystal blue. Its cool colors and calming sounds sing to us. A world surrounded by the rolling hills and historic roads on which cowboys once rode. Flowing springs cool the skin while the Arizona sun above peaks through the green of the trees to warm you. And when you lay on the soft sand or smooth rocks and gaze at the gentle flow of the water the sun will grace you with a diamond like surface. What is this place? This place was once a secret, Fossil Creek, a true thing of beauty in a dessert. This beautiful place had an estimated 90,000 visitors from Memorial Day and Labor Day just last year alone. With so many people, so many foot prints, come ill care and left behind garbage. With something so rare and so beautiful, would you really want to risk losing it? When you come and visit this little paradise, please leave it as you found it. Beautiful and clean.
Where to find a dessert paradise
This beautiful world can be found in Camp Verde, Arizona. It is only open seasonally now and you must purchase a permit to enjoy this wonder of nature.
It is a long and rocky road to the creek, but I promise it is well worth the effort.
